Arthur B. Willoughby, 76, 938 North Court street, who had ilved here for 56 years, died at his home yesterday following a brief illness.
Born in Rockford on March 4, 1866, he had lived here most of his life, and operated a furniture store on South Main street for a number of years. He moved to Baltimore, Md., in 1918 and returned in 1938.
He is survived by the widow, Katherine; a son, Derwin, Baltimore; two daughters, Hazel Willoughby, Baltimore, and Mrs. C.L. Thorn, Rockford. Two brothers, Frank Willoughby, Rockford, and John Willoughby, Roscoe, Cal., and 10 grandchildren. A son, Arthur Fletcher Willoughby, preceded him in death.
