Barbara M Tillstrom, 83 of El Dorado, AR; died on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Brookdale Living Center in Shreveport, LA. Born on February 9 1932 in El Dorado, AR; she was the daughter of Charles and Leona Lindsey Montgomery.

A homemaker, Barbara provided a loving and nurturing Christian home for her family. A devoted mother, Barbara was proud of her sons accomplishments such as both becoming Eagles Scouts. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church serving as a youth teacher and in her Sunday School Class. Barbara was an active member of the 'Pink Ladies" at the Medical Center of South Arkansas, she served as president from 1994 to 1995. Barbara enjoyed traveling and bream fishing with her late husband Carl.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Wilson Montgomery and her husband Carl Tillstrom.

Survivors are her sons Eric Scot (Ronda) Tillstrom of Shreveport, LA and Lee Allen Tillstrom of Aurora, OH; grandchildren Karin Tillstrom (Steven) Goebel, Laura Leigh Tillstrom, Andrew Mitchell Tillstrom and Margo Louise Tillstrom; a sister Norma Jean Givins of El Dorado; nieces Linda Jean Hanna of St. Amant, LA and Dianne Delores Givins of El Dorado.

Funeral service will be 2 pm, Sunday, July 5, 2015 in the chapel of Young's Funeral Directors with Rev. Brian Trostle officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
