Age 78, of Bruno, MN, passed away on 6/24/2015.

Ralph Peter Berglund was born on November 28, 1936 in Sandstone, MN to George and Ellen (Rassmussen) Berglund. He was raised on a farm in Danforth where he attended school in his younger years, then he finished his education in Sandstone. In 1956 he joined the army and served in Korea until 1957. Ralph married in 1958, and the couple raised their 3 children in Duluth where he worked for Gambles. He managed many Gambles stores in northern Minnesota and Wisconsin. In 1971 he purchased ServiceMaster and spent 31 years establishing businesses in Northern Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan until retiring in 2002. Ralph’s biggest desire was to help other business’ be successful. In 2002 they moved to the Danforth area again, where he lived until his auto accident.

Ralph enjoyed taking his grandchildren and others for rides on his four wheeler, cutting wood, hunting, grading the road, golf, and restoring the old log house. Ralph loved his big boy toys.

He was preceded in death by son Rod, his parents, sister Virginia Olson, brothers Richard and Ron Berglund.
