BIOGRAPHY
Funeral service for Lawrence Ballou, 71, Indiahoma, will be at 10:00 am Friday in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with John Webb, Minister, Cache Christian Church, Cache, OK and his brother Lon Ballou, Cooperton, Ok officiating.

Lawrence passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at his home.

Cowboy burial will be at the family farm southwest of Cache, OK.

The family will greet friends from 6-7 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.

He was born September 11, 1943 in the Paradise Valley Community, east of Lake Lawtonka to Seth Patrick and Aurilla Alice (Kleeman) Ballou. He was a bricklayer in his early years, and later farmed and worked at the Wichita Mountain’s Wildlife Refuge as a livestock handler for 22 years.
Lawrence is survived by his wife Cindy Ann Ballou of the home, his brother Lon Ballou of Cooperton, OK, a daughter Jessica and her husband James McMains and sons Reno and Garrett Ballou all of Cache, OK, his previous wife Wanda Ballou of Lawton, OK, a son Will Ballou of Lawton, OK, daughter Lora Morgan of Barling, AR and a daughter Leah Womack and husband Jason of Inola, OK. He is the grandfather of 10, great grandfather of 18 and uncle to 18 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, 3 brothers and a daughter Kathy Hudson.
