Beres, John P., Sr. Born March 17, 1930 in Big Bend, WI passed to Eternal Life, Sunday, April 19, 2015, age 85 years. Survived by: Special Friend: Carol Woodcock, Children: Therese (Bruce) Zivney, John (Karen), Mark (Joan), Maureen Pohle, Stephen (Gina), Patrice (Will) Kaye, Vincent (Pam), Monica (Anthony) Jennaro, Pauline (Chris) Rosecky, Christopher (Catherine). Further survived by Brother and Sister: William (Marsha), Agnes (Lloyd) Salentine; Brother-in-law and Sister-in-laws: Lucille, Alvin Schaefer, Rita, Pat, Janet Shea. Also survived by 29 grandchildren and 12.5 great-grandchildren. John was proceeded in death by: his wife, Patricia (Nee Shea); his parents: Nicholas and Margaret (nee Bensing) Beres; Brothers and Sisters: Leo, Msgr. Francis, Harold, Margaret Schaefer, Nicholas, George, Veronica and Anna. Further proceeded in death by: William and Florence Shea; Brother-in-law and Sister-in-laws: Loretta, Joseph Schaefer, and William Shea. John was the sole owner of John Beres Builders founded in 1959. He was an active 75 years member of Holy Apostles Church in New Berlin and also a member of St. Bruno's Church in Dousman. John was a member of the Holy Name Society and Knights of Columbus; a charter member (1954-1969) of the New Berlin Volunteer Fire Department and member of the Catholic Financial since 1947. Visitation Friday, April 24, 2015 at Holy Apostles Catholic Church (16000 W. National Ave.) 4 PM until time of Prayer Service at 7 PM and Saturday, April 25, 2015, 10AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment Holy Apostles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial to Catholic Memorial High School, Holy Apostles Church, St. Bruno's Church or St. Colettas of Wisconsin appreciated. The family would like to thank Dr. Susanne Krasovich and her team, the staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and the staff at AngelsGrace Hospice for their compassion care of John.
