Barbara B. Ross, 80, of Harrison, passed away suddenly, Monday, December 8, 2003 at St. Mary's Hospital of Saginaw. Barbara was born May 23, 1923 in Ogdensburg, New York, the daughter of Bryon and Marjorie (Douglas) Breckenridge.
Barbara was united in marriage to Harold A. Ross on June 24, 1980, coming from Deford, Michigan. Mrs. Ross was a member of the First Congregational Church, Harrison, Harrison Snow Riders, Harrison Lioness and a member of D.A.R. Barbara also did volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity.
Surviving are her husband, Harold A. Ross of Harrison; one son, Jeffrey Greene and wife Mary of Rodney, Michigan; one daughter, Jennifer Anderson and husband Marc of Mayville, Michigan; one brother, John Breckenridge and wife Jean of Chevy Chase, Maryland; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, plus several nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 11, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Pastor Gerald Baxter officiating. (The Clare County Cleaver – Harrison, MI – 24 December 2003)
