Annie was the daughter of Edward Ackroyd and Ellen Victoria Gouche, one of their eight children. She married Gerard Septimus Peck in 1898 and after he set up their homestead in Oyen Alberta, she immigrated to Canada to be with him. They had five children plus a set of triplets who died at birth. After they retired from farming they moved to Calgary. Unfortunately Annie died at Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary following a road accident near Red Deer in a vehicle driven by one of the sons.
