Minneola,KS---Waneta F. Weddle, 94,died November 12,2015 at Minneola Long Term Care Unit. She was born November 13,1920 near Bloom to Luther and Neva(Barnes) Clevenger. She was a lifetime area resident and Homemaker.
On June 1,1937 she married Leonard M. Weddle. He died February 24,2000.
Waneta is survived by a son Terry and wife Sharon of Minneola; a daughter Jeanette Besthorn of Colorado Springs; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, "Bud" Clevenger.
The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Sunday at the Minnis Mortuary, Minneola.
Graveside services and internment will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Monday, November 16,2015 at Maple Grove Cemetery( Greencest Additon) in Dodge City. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Minneola United Methodist Church with Pastor Kip Ryherd officiating.
