Mrs. Clance, a lifelong resident of Baldwin County, was a retired employee of Central State Hospital. She was a member of Hardwick United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Clayton Clance of Milledgeville; two daughters, Lynn Crooms Martin of Cairo and Susan Crooms Rogers of Milledgeville; four sons, Arthur Bernard Crooms of Macon and James Crooms, Ronald Crooms and Myron Crooms, all of Milledgeville; a stepdaughter, Martha Clance of Columbia, S.C.; 12 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and five Great-grandchildren.
