Geraldine E. Doerr, 92, of Cabot, went home to be with Jesus Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Born Feb. 14, 1923, in Jefferson County, she was a daughter of Raymond B. Gahagen and Mildred Himes Gahagen. Jerry was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, church activities and most of all spending time with her family. Surviving are her daughters, Linda Bogan, of Freeport, and Brenda (Bob) Daniele, of Ft. Lauderdale; one sister, Doris McCall, of Cabot; three grandchildren, Kelly, Joe and Dave; and four great-grandchildren, Yannie, Bryn, Kyle and Rowan. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph E. Doerr, on Sept. 8, 2010; and one sister, Dorothy Fox. Friends will be received from 2 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at FOX FUNERAL HOME INC., Saxonburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Matthew Barry officiating. Interment will follow in St. Luke Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Luke School.
