Pansy Manila Brock was the eldest child of George Austin "Austin" Brock and his wife, Theora Theodocia Cate of Washington Co, AR. She was the only grandmother that I knew and she was a wonderful person. She was a Pentecostal minister for many years. Pansy and Lloyd were wonderful singers and were well-known in the northeast Oklahoma area for singing. They were both raised in Adair county OK and loved the Cherokee people and their customs. Lloyd wasn't indian but he was raised with them since about four years old and loved them. Their first child, my father, Roscoe Edward Hightower was born in Baron Fork, Adair Co, OK. Their next two sons are both buried in the Euwasha cemetery at Kenwood, OK. Roscoe is buried in Bluejacket Cemetery, Bluejacket, OK, north of Vinita where my mother's people, Swift, Taylor and Rhoten are buried.
