Mrs. Martha (Otter) Jones, 92, a guest at the Lutheran Home for the past five and one-half years, died early Thursday morning at the State General Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Valentine and Catherine (Buchenau) Otter. The deceased was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Her husband, John P. Jones, died in 1936, and a son, Luther, also preceded her in death. Surviving are four sisters: Mrs. Kathryn E. Wagner and Miss Anna C. Otter, this city; Mrs. Elizabeth Pritchard, Penndel; and Mrs. Sam (Minnie) Godber, Conyngham; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Bachman and Rosenstock Funeral Home. The Rev. Allen H. Roth, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery. There will be no receiving of friends or viewing.
