Birth information is from his PA Birth Certificate - Parents listed as John Edward Wills and Blanche Adams

A well-known Bedford county farmer, Randolph Wid Wills, 47, of Buffalo Mills, was killed instantly Friday afternoon, August 21, when a hay bailer rolled over him. According to a report by Vernon Geisel, county coroner, there were no witnesses present when the accident occurred. Wills was bailing hay on the farm of Walter Elder, Buffalo Mills, and had climbed down from his tractor. Apparently the vehicle started to roll away, and Wills, in a vain effort to stop its headway by regaining the driver's seat, was caught in the bailer hitched to the tractor. Born Feb. 28, 1906, in Hyndman, he was the son of Edward J., deceased, and Blanche (Adams) Wills. On Aug. 6, 1924, he married Vera (Lehman) Wills, who survives along with his mother and the following children: Robert Randolph Wills of Irwin and Patricia Means of Frostburg, Pa.: and two grandchildren. He held membership in the Madley Lutheran Church, Free and Accepted Masons of Hyndman, the Jaffa Mosque Temple of Altoona, and the Scottish Rites Consistory of Cumberland. Services will be held at the Zeigler Funeral Home in Hyndman on Sunday, August 23, 1953, the Rev. James Scharf officiating. His body will be interred in Madley (sic) Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of services. The Bedford Gazette, August 22, 1953
