Mrs. Margaret Cannon Daughtry, 97, long-time resident of Faison, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 24, at Haymount Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville.
She was the widow of W. Clifton Daughtry and was the oldest living member of Faison Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive with the Rev. Andy Beard and the Rev. Paul Rose officiating, followed by burial in Wayne Memorial Park near Goldsboro. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service, beginning at 1 p.m.
