Born October 24, 1916 to Edward David and Rachel Sanders Burt of the McVille community, she was the last surviving of their nine children. She was retired from the nursery at Montford Jones hospital and lived many years in the Thomastown area before moving to the Dugan Home. She was a lifelong member of Yockanookany Baptist Church
Survivors include a daughter, Karel Kendall Cole (Edward), and a grandson, Kendall Duke Cole, all of Starkville as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving is her sister-in-law Mrs. David Burt of Kosciusko.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Ray Kendall and by sons David Ray Kendall and Joel Reed Kendall.
A graveside will be held at the Yockanookany Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM Thursday June 25 with visitation at the church at 12:30. Brother Robert Magee will officiate.
