Rosellen L. Coonts, 65, a resident of Buffalo, died Saturday, November 10, 2012, at the Kahl Home, Davenport. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, Buffalo. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 until 1:30 p.m. at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport.
Rosellen Leota Fisher was born on April 21, 1947, in Centerville, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Donald R. Coonts on January 18, 1967. He preceded her in death on December 6, 2001.
She enjoyed watching her soaps, especially Guiding Light, and loved her daughter's dogs.
Rosellen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Wes Schmook; a son, Scott Coonts; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brothers, Freddy (Sandy) Fisher and James Fisher. She was preceded in death by her husband, a granddaughter, Lacey Jay Axtell, her parents, and numerous brothers and sisters.
