Arlene was born April 4, 1925, in Madison, NY, the daughter of Dana and Marcella Camp. She was raised and educated in Madison, graduating from Madison High school in 1943, and then from Cazenovia College in 1945. Arlene was employed as a private secretary with Colgate University and then with Hamilton College, and finally the Stone Presbyterian Church in Clinton.
In 1947, Arlene married Harold E. Jenney. Mr. Jenney passed away in 1969.
In 1970, Arlene married Howard Vivyan. Mr. Vivyan passed away in 1999.
She had been on the Board of Managers and was a past president of the Sunset Home, Faxton St.; a member and past president of the Friends of the Lutheran Homes; and a current member of the Clinton United Methodist Church.
Arlene is survived by two stepsons and their spouses, Thomas and Susan Vivyan, Ohio, and James and Gail Vivyan, Clinton; a daughter-in-law, Laura Conley, Ohio; four grandchildren, Matthew Vivyan, Florida, Jennie Vivyan Hayes, Clinton, Jake Vivyan, Ohio, and Brett Vivyan, California; a great-grandson, Miles James Hayes; three nephews and their spouses, Gene and Patricia Camp, Edwin and Carol Camp, and Dennis and Janet Camp; and a niece and her husband, Shirley and Sam Fuller. Also surviving are many great-nieces and great-nephews, special friends, and caregivers.
Arlene was predeceased by two brothers, George R. Camp and Lynn D. Camp.
