On Nov. 17, 1925 he married Anna Halbleib at Ransom, Kan.
Kreutzer grew up on oa farm near Leibenthal. He was graduated from St. Joseph's Military Academy at Hays City, Kan., which is now Thomas Moore Prep School. While attending the academy he entered the U.S. Army on Oct. 19, 1918 at Fort Hays, Kan. He was discharged from Fort Hays on Dec. 21, 1918.
After his discharged he went to St. Meinard College in Indiana. He then taught school for one year. After his marriage they moved to western Kansas where he farmed until February of 1955 when he retired and they moved to Evans. He was then employed by Wright-McGill for 10 years retiring in 1965. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a fourth degree in Knights of Columbus.
Survivors are his wife, Anna of Evans; five daughters, Mrs. Dorothea Clark of Saint Charles, Mo., Mrs. Cleopha Waldschmidt of Denver, Mrs. Bernita Ison of Woodland Park, Mrs. Rosella Courtney of Aurora and Mrs. Marilyn Waldschmidt of Denver; two sons, Gerald of Denver and Frederick of Brighton; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Legleiter of Liebenthal, Mrs. Abby Unrein of La Crosse, Kan., and Mrs. Anna K. Kisner of Ransom; a brother, Ignatius of La Crosse; 25 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Three brothers and two sisters are deceased.
Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Adamson Memorial Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of Adamson Mortuary, which is in charge of arrangements.
