Jessie Simonetti, Russelllton

Jessie Simonetti, 68, of MacArthur Drive, Russellton, died yesterday, May 30, 1986, at 11 a.m. in Citizens General Hospital, New Kensington, after a three-week illness.

She was born June 12, 1917, in Ernest, to Carl and Carolina George Bassetti and lived most of her life in Russellton.

She was a member of Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church, Russellton, and it’s Rosary Society. She was a member of the West Deer Golden Agers, the Sons of Columbus Victory Council, Russellton, and the Columbiana Federation Lodge, Arnold.

She enjoyed cooking.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Dominic Simonetti; one son, Eugene, of West Deer; one daughter, Mrs. Caesar (Dolores) Cetti of Russellton; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Bassetti of Russellton and Raymond of Brackenridge; two sisters, Alline Saldari of Harwick and Marie Yousko of Detroit, Mich.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence on May 29, 1964, and Anthony on Nov. 1, 1970, and one sister, Julia Baker on July 11, 1978.

Friends will be received today and tomorrow from 2 to 9 p.m. in the Ronald J. Ellena Funeral Home, Starr Road, Russellton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. in Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar Township.
