He was the son of the late Niels Peter Anderson and Hanseine Elizabeth Nielson Anderson. He married Gladys Hansen, who preceded him in death. He married Dora Thorne Simister in Salt Lake City. He was a devoted High Priest in the Hunter 27th LDS Ward, in West Valley. He served four years in the US Navy ship aboard the USS Arizona.
He was survived by his wife, Dora of West Valley City; brother, Elmer Anderson; sister, Afton Jensen, both of St. George; nephews, Jack Anderson of Washington DC; Warren Anderson of Wyoming; and Gordon Anderson.
Visitation was held at the Deseret Memorial Mortuary on Wednesday and Thursday, March 15-16, 1995. Services were held Thursday, March 16, 1995, at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
