Mrs. Mary James, widow of the late William James, died at her residence on No. 635 West Diamond Avenue, at noon yesterday after an illness of ten days, from pneumonia. She was born in Cornwall, England, May 31, 1828, being at the time of death 63 years and 7 months old. Mrs. James came to America in 1849, residing in Stockton and Humboldt for many years. Five sons and two daughters, survive her.
