Mrs. Malissa Bingman, 70, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elmer Ranker, Buffalo Mills Rt. 1, early Sunday morning, March 14, 1954. She was born August 10, 1875, a daughter of George and Elizabeth (Oster) Gillum and was the widow of Jesse Bingman, who died July 1951. Surviving are eight children: Mrs. Ranker, with whom she lived; John E., Hyndman Rt.1; Harvey C., Hyndman; James M., Buffalo Mills Rt. 1; Mrs. Earl Davidson, Buffalo Mills Rt. 1; Richard, Bedford Rt. 4; Herman S., Corriganville, Md.; Foster E., Cumberland Rt. 4; as well as one sister, Laura Karns, of Bedford, 29 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bingman was a member of the EUB Church of Gravel Pit. Funeral services Wednesday, March 17, 2:30 p.m. at Gravel Pit EUB church, the Rev. Charles Raley officiating, with interment in Lybarger Cemetery under direction of Zeigler Funeral Service, Hyndman. Friends may call at the home of Mrs. Elmer Ranker, Buffalo Mills Rt. 1.
