Mrs. Elna Faye Dobbs Mayfield, age 85, of Villa Rica, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015.
She was born February 15, 1930 in Woodstock the daughter of the late Mr. Eugene Dobbs and the late Mrs. Bertha Roe Dobbs. She was a bookkeeper for Action Glass Company for many years. Mrs. Mayfield loved gardening, cooking and her family. She was of the Methodist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Malone Mayfield; brothers, Hugh Lee Dobbs and Donald Dobbs; sisters, Ouida Noggle and Roberta Noggle.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Sharon Mayfield of Villa Rica; sister, Dorothy “Dot” Justice of Canton; brother, Byron Dobbs of Canton; one grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, June 19, 2015 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Powell Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery on Flat Rock Road, Villa Rica.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter, 1925 Century Blvd, Suite 10, Atlanta, Georgia 30345.
