Mary Scieszinski

Mary Elizabeth Scieszinski, 77, of Albia died December 7, 1900, at the Monroe Care Center in Albia. Services were held 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Revs. M. J. Brothersen, Mark Swanson and John Stack officiating. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Melrose.

She was born Feb. 17, 1913, in Hiteman to Damon and Catherine Craig Early. She was a lifelong resident of Monroe County and was employed by Chamberlain. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Altar and Rosary Society.

She married Edward F. Scieszinski Oct. 15, 1938, in Georgetown. He died Oct. 7, 1983.

She is survived by a son, Ed of Albia and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Francis.
