Son of Heinrich & Marie Unruh Kasper.
Husband of Agnes Foth, married 20 Aug 1871 in Wola Wodzynska, Prussia . Came to US in 1871 and settled in Sommerfield, Illinois. Lived in Michigan for a few months, then in 1875 moved to Bluffton, Ohio, where infant child Maria died in Dec. 1876. They lived in Ohio until Nov. 1877 then they moved to Marion County, Kansas. Wife Agnes died in Aug. 1899.

Father, John Kasper was born Nov. 30th, 1847, at Sandburg, Polen.
He was baptized in 1864, and admitted into the church at Dutch Kasen.
He was united in marrage with Agnes Foth in 1871.- - Our parents, came to America in 1874, and settled at Sommerfield Ill. and from there they moved to Michigan, where they stayed for several months.
In the spring of 1875 they moved to Bluffton, Ohio where they joined the church under Rev. John Mosser. Here our parents stayed till Nov. 12th, 1877, when they moved to Marion county, Kansas, north of Hillsboro, where they joined the Johannasthal church, in 1890.
Our parents have also lived near Waldec, Kansas and Oklahoma. In 1899, when they moved back from Oklahoma to Kansas, in the month of August, father lost his beloved wife, our mother, through the hand of death.
He again moved onto a farm, untill he retired. Our father lived at Canton Kansas, by himself, for 13 years, with his son John, for about 5 years and with his daughter, Mrs. D. Unruh, about 2 years, where he ended his day's on this earth on Saturday, Jan 19th, 1929, at 4 oclock in the afternoon.
He is the father of 14 children, 9 sons, and 5 daughters, 3 sons and 3 daughters, have gone across before his call.
He is Grandfather, of 36 children, Two of these have also gone across.
He is Great Grandfather, of 3 children, still living.
Our father was sick for 23 day's, He suffered with lung weakness, ans Asthma, but to speak in the light of the Bible he died of old age, without any fever in his veins, He fell asleep and quietly his soul took flight to the hereafter.
He arrived to the high age of 81 years, 1 month, and 19 days.
He leaves to mourn, his children, Grandchildren, and Friends.
