Samantha is a daughter of Thomas William Davies and Emma Amelia Eskelson - the eleventh of their twelve children.

She married Thomas Henry Wright on June 17, 1912. They became parents to six children: William Orvil, Thomas Waldon, Everett James, Donald Carl, Thelma, and Vivian Helen. Thomas died in 1945.

Samantha married Welby LeRoy Walker on August 4, 1948 in Elko, Nevada.
