Mr. Crawford was a native of California and a lifelong resident of Ceres.
He was a retired California Highway Patrolman, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Masonic Lodge, Emanuel Lutheran Church and the California Association of Highway Patrolmen.
He was an Army and National Guard veteran.
He is survived by his daughters, V. Gayle Gallagher of Ceres and G.Louise Nelson of Manteca; and five grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Mae Crawford; three brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lakewood Funeral Home, Hughson.
A chapel service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial at San Joaquin National Cemetery, Santa Nella.
