Meg (Mary Gail) Clark Hatch, age 73, passed away on May 30, 2015.

She was born July 12, 1941 in Salt Lake City to John Clark and Mary DeGraw Clark.

Meg married Wallace Adams in 1957. They later divorced. She married Don Hatch in 1967. He passed away in 1994. She married Cal Harlow in 2001.

Meg grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from South High School. She worked as a dental assistant to Dr. Sansom for several years.

In 1970, she moved to Vernal with Don and their children. They operated Don Hatch River Expeditions until his death. She carried on the family tradition with her children until she retired in 2007.

She was active in the community and served on many boards including the Western Park and Dinosaurland Travel Board. She also served two terms as a commissioner on the Utah Travel Council. She was a member of Current Topics and Little Gallery of Arts.

She will be greatly missed.

Meg is survived by her husband, Cal; children, Wendy (Roger) May, Vernal; John (Joy) Hatch, Vernal; and Clark (Shanon) Hatch, Greeley, Colorado; step-children, her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister, Ruth Avis, Salt Lake City; mother-in-law Jean Harlow, Vernal; and so many others she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Vernal World Vision Assembly of God Church, 444 West 440 North, with a visitation at the church on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park under the care and direction of the Vernal Blackburn Mortuary.
