Graveside services for Mary Lois Bolt, age 87, of Birmingham, formerly of Oxford, were held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Forestlawn Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Thomas Moates officiating. Mrs. Bolt died Wednesday at St. Martin's in the Pines in Birmingham.
She is survived by her son, Jim Fowler and his wife, Martha, of Birmingham; her stepchildren; David Bolt, Rex Bolt, Randy Bolt, Christine Hadley, Wanda Gray and their families all of Oregon. Mrs Bolt has two sisters; Vella Bea Short, of Monroeville and Loventrice Short, of Birmingham; one grandson, Craig Fowler, his wife, Debra and their daughter Annabelle, also survive Mrs. Bolt; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Mrs. Bolt, a resident of Birmingham for three years, had lived in Oxford all of her life where she was a member of the Blue Springs Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Bolt.
