Our loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Wayne L. Brown, 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Puyallup, WA.

He was born on February 16, 1932 in Mesa, Arizona, a son of Elvis and Sara Hastings Brown. He was reared and educated in Monticello, Utah, and graduated from Monticello High School and from Brigham Young University. He served an LDS mission and was in the US Army.

He married Mary Margaret Harvey on June 11, 1958 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They had ten children, Vaughn, Ronnie, Kevin, Kyle, Darrin, Rulon, Jolene, Birdie, Ryan, and Kara. She preceded him in death on February 28, 2012. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Perry 8th Ward.

He enjoyed gardening, reading, playing games, hunting, camping, and most of all, being with his family.

Surviving are all of his children. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary, and one granddaughter Amanda Gail Brown.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Eastland Branch, 95 East Cedar, Eastland, UT. A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. at the church prior to the services.

Interment will be in the Eastland Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded.
