Lois Kelly, 78, our special sister and aunt, passed away at her home in Sandy, Utah, on Sunday, September 21, 2009. She was born on September 1, 1931, to Roy Watson and Nina Nimo Kelly, in Butler County, Pa. Serving in the US Army from 1949 to 1976 she was posted world-wide during war time and served as a photographer and recruiter, both abroad and in the United States. She was at one time a recruiter for Salt Lake City, Utah. After retirement from the Army, she made her home in Sandy, Utah and worked with National Semiconductor Company for several years. Refusing to ever do nothing she joined Sam's Club as a product demonstrator for 16 years. Lois was a devout Catholic, and a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Sandy, Utah. She also was very active in volunteering with anything to do with the welfare of children and special needs and the Humane Society.
