Mrs. Marion K. Beckman. 69. 519 Parkside Drive, died at 6:45 a.m. Monday, May 6, 1963, after a long illness.

Born Sept. 18, 1894, in Omaha, Neb., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman T. Burgess. Lived 36 years in Rockford, coming here from Lancaster, Pa. Married to the former Hollis E. Beckman in Maddison, Wis., July 9, 1921. He is general agent emeritus for the Mutual Trust Insurance Co., and at present he and his son operate Beckman and Beckman Insurance Co., 425 Gas and Electric Building. Member of First Presbyterian Church, and was a past regent of DAR, and was a member of Rockford Woman's Club; New England Colony; Chapter No. 590, Order of Eastern Star, and Daughters of the Nile.

Survivors include: her husband, Hollis E.; a son, John B. Beckman; two grandchildren, Thomas R. and Johnath Lynn Beckman, all of Rockford; two sisters, Mrs. Sibyle Mitchell, Sun Prairie, Wis., and Mrs. Helen Crutcher, Louisville, Ky.

Services at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Fred . Olson Mortuary. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery.
