Robert G. Boltz, 72, of 1310 N. 12th, died at 5:55 p.m. Thursday (March 25, 1999) in Blessing Hospital.
Born Nov. 30, 1926, in Rutledge, Mo., Mr. Boltz was a son of Leonard and Minnie Goodwin Boltz.
Mr. Boltz served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was employed by Gardner-Denver Co. as a timekeeper until his retirement in 1986 after 38 years.
He loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include a son, Robert A. Boltz and his wife, Tina, of Maywood, Mo.; two brothers, Paul Boltz of Palm Bay, Fla., and Dale Boltz of Quincy; and a sister, Helen Jungman of San Antonia, Texas.
Mr. Boltz was preceded in death by three brothers, Herb, Kenny and Howard; and six sisters, Edna Calhoun, Gladys Jarvis, Mary Piner, Ann Waechter, Leona Nelson and Hazel Parrish.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home by Rev. James McCoy. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Sociery or Blessington Foundation for Hospice.
