VERONA MILLS The death of Adam Eckart, one of the oldest residents of the town of Verona, occurred at his home here this morning at 9 o'clock from a general breaking down of the system, incident to old age. He was born in Germany, Jan. 27, 1811, and came to America about 1832 settling here. He always has made his home in this place. He was a member of the German Lutheran Church. Surviving are one son, George Eckart of Chicago; and one daughter, Louisa Eckart of Verona. The funeral will occur at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lutheran Church.
