Fern appeared on the 1930 US Census with her father, Karl Elmer Fisher Sr, and Mollie in Nahant, Essex, Massachusetts. She was four years old. She was born in Rochester, Monroe, New York, and it is possible that Loretta Alice "Lottie" Bell Fisher was her mother, because Lottie and Karl married in 1915. Perhaps Fern's middle name, "Belle," came from Lottie's maiden name of Bell? According to the US 1930 Census, Karl and Mollie married about 1930.
See Matilda C "Mollie" Kintner Fisher-Weishew's memorial for more information.
Fern Belle Fisher married Harold Clifford Beyer "Reds" Fell in Jan 1948. They appeared on the 20 Apr 1950 US Census together in Rockledge, Montgomery, Pennsylvania. Fern was a telephone operator. They became the parents of three sons between 1955 and 1960.
Fern died 26 Aug 1995 in Jenkintown, Montgomery, Pennsylvania, about six months after her husband's death.
