RUBY SHADDUCK
ROME - Mrs. Ruby B. Shadduck, 81, of RD 5, New London, died May 24, in Rome Hospital.
She was born in New London, daughter of George and Belle Totten Gerwig. She was married to Joseph Shadduck in Churchville in 1908. She was employed by the Rome State School for 21 years before she retired in 1956. She also had lived in New York City, She was of the Methodist faith.
She leaves two sisters. Miss Helen Gerwig, RD 5, Rome, and Mrs. Elliott (Mabel) Yager, Higginsville.
The funeral will be at 2 tomorrow from the Griffin & Aldridge Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today.
