Otto E Dingwerth, 79, formerly of 1874 N 36th, Kansas City, Kansas, died Tuesday at a nursing home at 6505 W 103rd, Overland Park. He was born in Bethel and was a lifelong resident of Wyandotte County. Mr Dingwerth owned and operated Otto's Shoe Repair Service, 18th and Parallel, forty years before retiring in 1970. He was a member of the Central Christian Church. He leaves a son, Howard L Dingwerth, 9236 Mackey, and a daughter, Mrs Virginia M Rupp, 7622 W 97th, both of Overland Park.; two brothers, John Dingwerth, Kansas City, Kansas, and Frank Dingwerth, Fort Worth; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 pm Friday at the Porter Chapel; burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm Thursday at the chapel.
