Galva-- Mrs. Ed Boostrom, 73, of Galva, died in Galesburg Cottage hospital Saturday evening following a sudden attack of illness at the home of her brother, Elmer Larson, here Friday night.
Double funeral services for Mrs. Boostrom and her father, Henry Larson, whose death also occurred on Saturday, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 in Watauga Lutheran church. Burial will be in Watago cemetery.
Mrs. Boostrom was born June 10, 1882, in Sweden, one of eight children of Henry and Carrie Larson. She was married to Ed Boostrom on Dec. 24, 1902, in Galesburg. Mr. Boostrom died feb. 15, 1952.
She came to America with her parents in 1893, settling in the Watauga community. After her marriage, she lived in Watauga and Victoria communities before moving to Galva in 1945. She was a member of the Watauga Lutheran church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. J. L. Clark of Louisville, KY; Mrs. Ivan Hartman of Indianapolis, IN; and Mrs. Louis Hartman of Victoria; one son, Delbert, also in Victoria; sister, Mrs. Fred Lind and brother, Elmer Larson, both of Galva; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, three sisters, and two brothers.
