He was born in Ross County near Bainbridge on March 6, 1844, the son of Mr and Mrs Jacob Blazer. He was a farmer by occupation and served during the Civil War as a private in Co. K 86th Regiment. He leaves his wife Mary Poole Blazer, four sons Edgar, Charles and William of South Union and Pearl of Frankfort, two daughters Mrs. Lula Badley and Mrs. Dell Flesher of Athens. Funeral will be at the residence at 10:00 a.m. with Burial in Poole Cemetery.
