Dorothy B. Rost, 70, of Kaukauna, formerly of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, May 1, 1997, after a lengthy illness. She was born on Aug. 12,u 1926, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Herman and Martha Krueger Rahl. On Sept. 28, 1946, she married Arnold Rost at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. He died in August 1992. Mrs. Rost was a homemaker and enjoyed reading religious books. She was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Survivors include seven children, Judy Rost of Kaukauna, Arnold and his wife Allison of Fond du Lac, Jeff and his wife Dianne of Pawtucket, R.I., Sherrie Mielke of Fond du Lac, Sandy Guitron and her husband Homer of San Antonio, Texas, Linda Worzalla and her husband Dan of Bancroft, Wis., and Peggy Kemnitz and her husband Rich of Madison; one sister, Blanche Snyder of Fond du Lac; 16 grandchildren; a close friend, Richard Kremer; nieces, nephews, relatives and other friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael; and two brothers, Wayne and Sonny. Services: Funeral services are pending, and further information will be provided in a future edition of The Reporter. A memorial service will be held. Cremation will take place. Heart of the Valley Funeral Home in Kimberly is serving the family.
