(The Cemetery Administrator for the City of Kawartha Lakes checked the cemetery records, and they confirmed this info). The death certificate also lists this date, though her father's surname was incorrectly listed on the certificate as her married name of McBain instead of Turner.

At the time of her death, Catherine was living in the household of her daughter Mary McBain Murray, wife of George Murray. The place of death listed on the death certificate was Front Range 53 in Somerville Township of Victoria County. George Murray's father Donald Murray had the same address listed for his place of death in 1909. George's parents Donald and Elizabeth Imery Murray are on the same stone as Catherine and Donald McBain. The informant on the death certificate was J. S. Rumney, which was most likely the Murray's neighbor Joseph Sunderland Rumney, who lived on the plot Front Range 56.
