STONEWALL, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Carl Beshea, 77, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Sister Charlene Casten of Living Word Family Center Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home Friday, May 9, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Mr. Beshea was born on August 3, 1930 in Springhill, LA to Willie and Elsie Beshea. He passed away into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 7, 2008 after a brief illness. He was a resident of Stonewall and was a house painter for over 50 years. He enjoyed gardening, Bar-B-Qing and playing with his grandchildren. He was a truly good man who loved his family.
Carl was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 48 years, Loretta Talley Beshea; three sisters and one brother.
He is survived by his sons, Ricky Beshea and wife, Holly and Johnny Beshea; daughter, Carolyn Ezernack and husband, Bobby; sister, Lorene Branton; brothers, Earl, Dearl, W.D., Willie and Clarence Beshea; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
Honoring him as pallbearers will be Benji Murray, Cory Randolph, Justin Talley, Eric Talley, Wesley Beshea and Kenneth Cross. Rose-Neath Funeral Home
