Marshall was the son of Thomas and Susannah Dishman Galloway (who are also buried in this cemetery). Marshall's first wife was Jane Crofford (married about 1834), after her death he married Cyrenia Noel and after her death he married Sarah Dishman Galloway (widow of his brother, Fleming Mason Galloway). Marshall was a farmer and a blacksmith. Marshall and Jane had two sons Wm P. and Thomas B. Galloway (fag 60513837) and four daughters Mary Ruth, Matilda (fag 49574117, mrd Sam Tarrents), Elizabeth and Ann. Thomas and Cyrenia had two sons Marshall H. and Mason J. and two daughters Ann and Ellen. It is not known that he and Sarah had any children.
