Mary (Towsley) Burritt was born 1773/1774, probably in either Connecticut or Vermont, and passed away at 70 years of age. She married Major Burritt around 1796. They were the parents of Marcus Burritt, Anson Burritt, Phoebe (Burritt) Adams, Johnson Burritt, Lucretia (Burritt) Hurd, Electa (Burritt) Adams, and Clement Burritt.
