ALLYN NONES' DEATH.
Sad End In New Mexico of a Former Louisville Boy.

Mr. Allyn K. Nones, formerly of this city and laterly of Las Vegas, New Mexico, was killed in a railroad accident Monday evening near Las Vegas. A telegram announcing his death was received by Mr. William C. Nones, Monday evening about 11 o'clock, but there were no details. A later telegram said the body would be embalmed and sent here for interment.
Yesterday morning an Associated Press dispatch, sent out from Denver, told the story of the promissing young man's death. It said: "A Las Vegas, N. M., special sats: "About 8 o'clock last evening an ice train of sixteen cars and a caboose, coming down from the Hot Springs, was wrecked by running into an open switch, just as it was entering the yards at this place, and A. K. Nones, Vice President and General Manager of the Las Vegas Aqua Pura and Ice Company, was instantly killed, and a brakeman named Garrett slightly injured. Mr. Nones came here some two years ago from Louisville, and where his father, W. C. Nones, Vice President of the Kentucky Wagon Works, still resides."
The young man was well known in Louisville, where he had spent the best portion of his life. He left Louisville about two years ago and went to Las Vegas, where he secured a position with Las Vegas Aqua Pura and Ice Company. He soon became general manager, the position held at the time of his death.
When Mr. Nones left Louisville he was Teller of the Fidelity Trust Company, and he was a faithful official. He was educated at the Louisville High School, where he graduated with high honors. He was soon to have been married to a popular young society lady of Las Vegas, and his death was a sad shock to all.
The remains will be accompanied from Las Vegas by a party of friends, and will arrive Thue=rsday or Friday. The arrangements fro the funeral have not yet been made, and, upon the arrival of the remains, they will be taken to the home of the young man's father, Mr. W. C. Nones, 1351 East Broadway.
