HOUSTON, TX- A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Strange Methodist Church in Readhimer, LA. at 10:30 a.m. for Florene Weaver Toms, 80, of Houston, TX. Rev. Stuart Toms will be officiating. The funeral home in charge is Claire Brothers Funeral Home.
Florene was born Dec. 12, 1931 in Chestnut, LA and died Jan. 5, 2012. At the time of her death, she was a resident of Seven Acres Jewish Senior Care in Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry Elmo and Elsie Rushing Weaver; brothers Earl Weaver and Tom Watson Weaver; sons Gary Wayne Toms and Hugh Gordon Toms.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Tommy Hilburn Toms; brother Henry Eston "Butch" Weaver and his wife, Ginger; daughters Donna Toms and Debra Pellegrin; grandson Ryan Pellegrin and wife Jill and great-grandchildren Emma Camille Pellegrin and Tommy Allen Pellegrin; grandson Spencer Pellegrin and wife, Charissa and great-grandchildren Garrett Wade Pellegrin and Marin Elisabeth Pellegrin; granddaughter Nicole Pellegrin.
