Emma A. "Sug" Admire, 78, passed away on Monday, June 10th at her residence in Franklin. She was born on November 1, 1934 in Franklin to Loren J. and Bernice R. (Bridges) Vaught. She married Bernard E. "Bernie" Admire on March 18, 1960. He lovingly survives in Franklin. She is also survived by four sons, Burke(Pam) Admire; John (Patricia) Admire; James (Elizabeth) Admire and Thomas (Erica) Admire; grandchildren, Sarah (Dustin) Cromer; Alexander (Veronica) Admire; Craig Admire; Carrie Admire; Rebecca Admire; Jessica Admire; George Admire; Joseph Admire; Bryce Admire and Alexis Admire and one great-grandchild, Blake Admire. Also surviving are three siblings, Dr. Richard (Nancy) Vaught; Barbara Paris and Joseph (Sue) Vaught. She was preceded in passing by her parents, and one brother, Robert Vaught. Sug was a proud 1952 graduate of Franklin High School. She retired in 2000 from her secretarial position with the Federal Judiciary, serving the Honorable Larry J. McKinney. She previously was the Court Reporter with Johnson County Circuit Court serving the Honorable Robert Young and the Honorable Larry J. McKinney. Sug began her career working for Grant Rogers, Esq.Sug was the recipient of the Johnson County Bar Association Liberty Bell Award in 1993. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Franklin Chapter, Order of Eastern Star No. 439 and was a past Honored Queen with Jobs Daughters. She was a member of Psi Iota Xi Sorority; Hillview Country Club and the Johnson County Historical Society. Rev. Andy Kinsey will conduct a celebration of Sug's Life on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 1300 East Adams Drive in Franklin. Friends may call on Thursday, June 13th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the church. The Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin ishandling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 1300 East Adams Drive, Franklin, Indiana 46131.
