Education News, Vol. 10, 1894, p. 506, Prof. C. S. Harter, of Lock Haven, has been elected principal of the LaMoure schools, North Dakota. During the past two years he has been professor of natural science and assistant in mathematic in the Normal School at Lock Haven. In '85 Prof. Harter graduated from the Lock Haven State Normal, and in '91 from the Pennsylvania College at Gettysburg.

Charles died on Feb. 28, 1934 at Lock Haven, PA. He was 65 years, 9 months and 22 days old, married to Catherine, a Water Supt., and lived at 67 N Fairview St. Charles was buried at the Highland Cemetery on March 3rd. The informant on his death certificate was Miss Edna Rich of Lock Haven.
