"Edna M. Pitman, a resident of Elko for the past 14 years, died this morning at Elko General Hospital at age 69.
"Mrs. Pitman was born April 3, 1903, and moved here with her family from Grand Junction, Colo. She was active in the operation of the family's Western Auto Store here until she retired about two years ago. She was an active member of the Rebekah Lodge.
"Survivors include her husband, Leonard, of Elko; son, . . . ; daughter, . . . .; brother Archie H. Weaver, Wichita, Kansas; sister, Mrs. Nellie Stone, Canton, Mo.; and six grandchildren.
"Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. at Burns Funeral Chapel. Entombment will be in Burns Memorial Gardens."
