Pamela was a 1970 graduate of Lexington Sr. High School and a 1974 graduate of Western Carolina University. Pamela was a member of First Baptist Church Matthews, she was a member of the choir and was very active in her Sunday School Class. Pamela enjoyed knitting and loved to travel.
In addition to her mother, Pamela is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Walter Nickell.
In addition to her father, Pamela is survived by her daughters, Mara Lovelace and companion Vern of Billings, MT, Nancy Murillo and husband Alex of Charlotte, and Stacey Geidl and husband Joe of Conyngham, PA. Grandchildren, Alex, Lilly and River. Brother, Larry Tucker and wife Kandy; sisters, Beverly Benfield and husband Steve, and Sherry Gobble and husband Bryant. Nephews, Scott Benfield, Nathan Gobble, Arin Wilhelm and family, and Mark Nickell; nieces, Kerri Tucker, Emily Gobble and Stephanie Nickell. Brother in law, Tim Nickell and wife Crystal.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Powles Funeral Home.
The Funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Matthews. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill.
